Sight Word Games

Sight Word Games: 

Students will practice kindergarten and first grade sight word games. These student games are able to be played online via Google Meet. Students will interact, socialize, and learn together. 

Students will learn the following: 

-Rhyming (Week 1)

-Alliteration (Week 2) 

-Sentence Segmentation (Week 3) 

-Syllables (Week 4) 

-Word Baseball-learning sight words in a baseball theme (Week 5)

-Word Memory Game-students will practice learning the words in a memory match game (Week 6) 

-Word Fishing-students will play a fishing game that helps students remember their sight words (Week 7) 

-Word Bowling-students will play a word game while playing bowling (Week 8) 

Students will put the games together during class so two classes are allotted for that time.

About the class: 

Students will be learning Kindergarten and 1st Grade sight words.
